The European Central Bank (ECB) has the intention to erect the long-term seat of the European Central Bank and additional facilities on the area of the present central market in the east of Frankfurt (approx. 120,000m²) which was bought by the city of Frankfurt. Schüßler-Plan was put in charge of the project control for the clearing and development of the future location of the ECB in Frankfurt on Main and of the overall coordination for the terrain clearance.
